‘Armenia Will Never Join the EU, but It Will Ruin Relations with Russia’ – Medvedev on Pashinyan
Armenia will never become a member of the European Union, yet it will damage its relations with Russia and other EEU countries for an extended period. This was stated by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, in an interview with TASS regarding Armenia's EU membership prospects.
“It is clear that Armenia will never join the chronically ill European Union, but it will spoil its relations with Russia and other EEU countries for a long time,” Medvedev said. He also made harsh and insulting remarks directed at Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
