Additional $40.5 Million Allocated for Pension and Benefit Payments

Additional funding of 14 billion 807.6 million dram (approximately $40.5 million) has been allocated for pension and benefit payments. The corresponding decision was made during the Armenian government's meeting on August 20.

It was noted that calculations took into account the increase in pension and benefit amounts that will take effect on April 1, 2026. The funds have been allocated from the Government's reserve fund.
