A 500 Million Dollar Gaming and Hotel Complex to be Built in Yerevan

On August 6, the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, met with representatives of the "Global Tribe Gaming" company. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister Edgar Zakaryan, Director of the Investment Support Center Foundation Gohar Abajyan, and Director of the "Dvin" Hotel Complex Artak Tovmasyan.

The company plans to create an international level gaming, hotel, entertainment, and tourism complex in Yerevan in collaboration with the "Dvin" hotel complex and "Seven Visions Resort & Places." The total estimated volume of the project is about 500 million USD, of which 40 million USD is intended for the development of adjacent real estate, including the construction of an additional hotel tower.

The project is expected to create approximately 1,000 jobs. During the meeting, issues related to the implementation of the investment program, as well as taxation, licensing, regulation, and payment systems related to the gaming industry were discussed.
