Wildberries Prohibits Employees from Bringing Smartphones to Warehouses

Wildberries has prohibited employees from bringing personal smartphones to warehouses as of August 3. This information was reported by «Осторожно, новости», referencing an internal notice from the company.

The document states that taking photos or videos during an air alert can pose security threats, reveal positions of air defense systems, violate Russian legislation requirements, and lead to administrative, and in some cases, criminal liability.

Employees are only allowed to use mobile phones without cameras, which, according to the company, will enable them to maintain communication with their relatives.

The ban on smartphones was also reported by the «Клуб партнеров на маркетплейсах» Telegram channel, which published the same section of the notice.

It is noted that a ban on photographing and filming the consequences of Ukrainian attacks is in effect in dozens of regions across Russia, including Moscow. The publication of such materials, including footage of attacks on Wildberries warehouses, has previously resulted in arrests.
