«This is Iran's last chance»: Trump on negotiations with Tehran
US President Donald Trump has announced that Washington and Tehran continue negotiations despite earlier reports that they had been suspended.
In response to a reporter's question about whether negotiations with Iran are currently on hold, Trump stated that they are ongoing. “They are happening right now. This is a remarkable thing. This time they are not denying it,” the President said.
According to Trump, the negotiations are taking place at Iran's request, with support from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and other countries. “This is their last chance to sign a good deal,” he declared.
Trump noted that discussions could conclude quickly. He mentioned that the parties are initially discussing the complete opening of the Strait of Hormuz, followed by Iran's nuclear capabilities.
