Medication Recall in Armenia: Citizens Urged Not to Use It

The Health and Labor Inspectorate has issued an order to "THOEFARMA IMPORT" LLC to suspend the circulation and carry out the recall of the "Gensulin R 100MM/ml" injection solution (10 ml glass vial, manufacturer: "Bioton S.A.") of batch number 50C2607A.

According to the Inspectorate, the decision is based on the conclusion from the State Expert Center for Medicines and Medical Technologies, which noted a class II recall-worthy deficiency in the specified batch. Specifically, during a visual inspection, a particle measuring 0.1-1 mm was found adhered to the inner surface of the glass container.

For this reason, batch number 50C2607A is subject to removal from circulation and recall. The Health and Labor Inspectorate urges citizens to check the batch number of their medication and refrain from using it if it is 50C2607A.
