Torosyan on Infection Cases in Nursing Home and Orphanage

During a question and answer session with the government in parliament, Sybuhih Grigoryan, a member of the "Enlightened Armenia" faction, inquired about who is responsible for the discovery of coronavirus in closed institutions, specifically in a nursing home and an orphanage.

The Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan, addressed the question: "It is impossible to completely eliminate the risk of infection, as people must go home and come back. Unfortunately, we have two such hotspots: one is the nursing home, and the other is the orphanage. Regarding the orphanage, I can say that within the general trends, the situation is less dangerous for children; we see this from our own experience," said Torosyan.
