We Have No Intent to Seek Alimony, Nor Do We Plan to Divide the Children Right Now: Simonian

We have no intent to seek alimony with the Russian Federation, nor do we plan to divide the children. This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, in a conversation with journalists.

“Don’t we need them? Why are they all mixed up? They say that more people live in Russia than in Armenia, that Armenia wouldn’t exist at all without Russia. So if we’re not that needed, what are we discussing now?” he added.

“Don’t create a storm in a glass, this is politics; they will state their opinions and we will state ours, and then we will sit down, discuss, and talk. They will suggest something, we will suggest something. This is politics, not marriage and divorce. We have no intent to seek alimony, nor are we looking to divide the children at this moment. We are also against such discussions,” Simonian emphasized.
