Russian Armenians Arriving in Armenia for Elections, Says Pashinyan
Many Armenians living in Russia are coming to Armenia specifically to vote in favor of the "Civil Contract" party during the elections, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a pre-election campaign rally in the Erebuni administrative district.
He responded to remarks suggesting that some known forces are bringing a large number of citizens from Russia to participate in the elections. Pashinyan said, “Even today, people are coming from Moscow, Krasnodar, and various parts of Russia, stating that they have come specifically to vote for the" Civil Contract" party. I don't know if these people have been sent, or if they have come on their own accord, but I can say that among Armenian citizens living in Russia, over 65 percent will vote in favor of the "Civil Contract" party.”
