Arthur Yeremyan Arrested for Two Months in Connection with Vedi Scandal
Arthur Yeremyan, who was arrested in connection with the case of violence against minors in Vedi, has been remanded in custody for two months, according to the Investigative Committee.
It was previously reported that a measure of restraint, specifically detention for a duration of two months, had been selected against one individual in relation to the case involving minors in Vedi.
Recall that in the city of Vedi, located in the Ararat region, two individuals were arrested in relation to a case that received significant public attention concerning underage sisters.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office announced that criminal proceedings had been initiated against A. Yeremyan under the second part of Article 198 of the Criminal Code (committing sexual acts against a minor in a vulnerable situation) and against D. A. under the same article (with three counts).
