Number of Ships Seized by the U.S. During Maritime Blockade
The U.S. Central Command has reported the seizure of 48 ships during the maritime blockade of Iranian ports. Since the commencement of the maritime blockade imposed by the United States, a total of 48 vessels attempting to enter or exit Iranian ports have been detained.
According to a statement from Central Command (CENTCOM), these 48 vessels linked to Iran have been redirected in the past 20 days to ensure compliance with the blockade.
