Iran Confirms Decision on Strait of Hormuz Will Remain Unchanged
Iranian authorities have announced that the decision regarding the Strait of Hormuz will remain unchanged. Ali Nikzad, the Deputy Speaker of Iran's Parliament, stated that the Strait of Hormuz will not be returned to its previous status, as it is the directive of the country's leadership.
“We will not return the Strait of Hormuz to its previous state, and this is the instruction from the leadership,” the official mentioned.
Additionally, Nikzad addressed U.S. President Donald Trump's statements, emphasizing their contradictory nature. According to the deputy speaker, Trump insists on one hand that Iran's nuclear capabilities have already been destroyed, while on the other hand, he continues to express concerns about nuclear facilities operating within the country.
