US Gives Tehran a Few Days to Return to Negotiating Table
The US administration has given Tehran a few days to return to the negotiating table, threatening to end the ceasefire otherwise.
According to Axios, the current US administration has provided Iran with only a few days to resume negotiations, with refusal potentially leading to the termination of the ceasefire. Reports indicate that serious disagreements have emerged within Tehran between civil negotiators and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), significantly hindering the decision-making process.
It is also noted that Donald Trump is inclined to extend the ceasefire regime for a short period; however, the main leverage continues to be the blockade of Iranian ports.
