No Need for Coalition Formation: Mamikon Aslanyan
Mamikon Aslanyan, a member of the 'Strong Armenia' party and former mayor of Vanadzor, addressed the party's extraordinary congress regarding the coalition's name, accusations against the opposition, and potential coalitions post-elections.
He emphasized that the name of the coalition is 'Strong Armenia' and that Samvel Karapetyan’s name is inseparably linked to the 'Strong Armenia' party.
Referring to the Prime Minister's characterization of the opposition as 'forces of war,' Aslanyan stated that this is merely an electoral tactic. According to him, all associations with war are directly related to the current power and personally to Nikol Pashinyan's name. He added that he does not know of any other forces, including the mentioned three or other organizations participating in the elections, that adopt a rhetoric of war or aggression.
Speaking about possible coalitions and giving votes to other forces, Aslanyan declared that their strength is aimed at an absolute victory. In his view, with such a victory, there will be no need to form a coalition or grant votes to anyone.
