Agreement on Iranian Frozen Assets
The United States has agreed to partially unfreeze Iranian assets held in foreign banks. This was reported by Reuters, citing Iranian sources.
It is noted that this mainly concerns funds located in Qatar and other countries that had previously been frozen. In Tehran, this move is regarded as a "goodwill gesture" and is seen as a sign of Washington's willingness to reach a potential long-term agreement.
At the same time, there has been no official public confirmation from the U.S. regarding this information. According to sources, the unfreezing of assets may be linked to ongoing U.S.-Iranian negotiations in Islamabad, where several issues related to bilateral relations are being discussed.
