Video: Mirzoyan on TRIPP - We Will Need a Third Partner
The work around TRIPP is progressing, and we will need a third partner. This was stated by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a joint press conference with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.
“Despite the not-so-favorable processes ongoing in the world and our larger region, bilateral work between Armenia and the United States continues. I had the opportunity to mention that we are currently still in the documentation phase of the operations, and we are in the process of coordinating an intergovernmental agreement. We hope that as soon as possible, we will move into the next phase, which is construction. This is where we will need third partners; of course, the contract will be bilateral - between Armenia and the USA, but we will need partners in the construction phase and likely in the system management phase as well,” the minister noted.
