VIDEO: Demand to Not Fine, Easing Traffic Congestion – The Minister of Internal Affairs Clarifies

Auroranews.am has reported on the concerns of drivers regarding traffic congestion in a conversation with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sarkisyan.

“Dear Madam Minister, we kindly ask you to instruct the patrol officers not to fine when entering from Arno Babajanyan Street to North-South. The drivers are merely trying to ease the congestion by making a U-turn to the right at the intersection of the 4th village and descending,” said one of the concerned citizens.

“Remove the 'No Entry' sign and give us the opportunity to alleviate the notorious 24/7 traffic jam of Sheram. This road is also regrettable; the North-South is paved, marked, and equipped, yet it has been closed and unused for 4 years. Let at least light passenger vehicles pass through there.”

“At the intersection of the 4th village, since part of the road is unpaved, it is also possible to flatten it with a tractor so that it is easier to exit,” the radio listeners expressed their concerns.
