Alen Simonyan Signs Order: Deputy Head of the National Assembly Staff is Dismissed
Starting from April 1, Vardan Harutyunyan will be relieved of his duties as the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Staff. The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, has signed the relevant order.
“Guided by part 12 of Article 9 of the Law on Public Service, and based on point 1 of annex 18 approved by the Council of the National Assembly decision No. AJKH-006-L on June 12, 2017, and considering V. Harutyunyan's application dated March 30, 2026, Alen Simonyan has ordered the dismissal of Vardan Harutyunyan from the position of Deputy Head of the National Assembly Staff effective April 1, 2026,” the statement reads.
According to the order, the Head of the National Assembly Staff - Chief Secretary D. Arakelyan has been instructed to ensure the full final settlement in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
