UAE Denies Reports of Attack on Iran
A senior official from the United Arab Emirates has stated to The Jerusalem Post that the country was not involved in the recent attack on an Iranian enrichment facility. According to the publication, the UAE would not target civilian sites if it were to enter into conflict, but would aim at military objects instead.
The Israel Defense Forces also denied their involvement in the attack. Earlier, reports had emerged suggesting that the UAE had struck the Iranian facility. Such an action would have marked the UAE's first response against Iranian drone and missile attacks within the context of the war being waged by Israel and the United States against the Islamic regime.
