The Collapse of Iran Could Propel the Region into Unprecedented Disaster: Turkologist
In the event of Iran's collapse, we would be recalling the 2003 Iraq situation, the 2011 Syria crisis, and the 2023 Gaza conflict, stated candidate of historical sciences and Turkologist Varoujan Geghamyan.
"Iran has not yet activated its proxy forces in the region, from Lebanon to Yemen and Iraq. The real regional catastrophe could begin at that point, involving all countries," he wrote.
Geghamyan also responded to certain comments from some 'experts.' "Since I see certain posts from internet 'experts' trying to calm down and trivialize what is happening, I would like to add this: if you believe that peace will be established in the region after the collapse of the Iranian regime, and everyone will be happy, fat, and lucky, then you fundamentally do not understand how the internal logic of this region works, as well as the geopolitical calculations and the positioning of powers in the modern world," Geghamyan noted.
