Air Temperature to Gradually Rise
During the day on February 1 in Yerevan, weather is expected to be dry without precipitation. From February 2 to 4, there will be precipitation in the form of snow and mixed rain. On the night and morning of February 2-3, fog is anticipated. This information has been provided by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center.
Across the republic, on February 1 during the day, there will be precipitation in certain areas from February 2 to 4. In pre-mountain and valley regions, it will be mixed rain, while in mountainous areas, it will be in the form of snow, with blizzards and low horizontal visibility expected in some mountainous regions.
On February 5-6, dry weather is anticipated. The wind will be from the southwest at speeds of 3-6 m/s, while an increase in wind speeds of 17-20 m/s is expected in some areas on February 2-5.
On the night and morning of February 2-3, fog is anticipated in lower-lying areas of the Shirak plain, in the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, as well as in the Ararat plain.
Air temperature will gradually rise by 2-4 degrees Celsius during the daytime on February 1-3, and by 4-6 degrees Celsius in the Ararat plain and its foothills.
