US Requests Intelligence Data from Europe on Potential Targets in Iran Amid Possible Attacks
The United States has requested intelligence data from European countries regarding Iran in the context of potential future strikes. This was reported by The Washington Post, citing senior European officials.
“We have no evidence that President Trump intends to target nuclear facilities. It is more likely that he will pursue those responsible for the killings of protesters and the leadership of organizations and forces involved in these events,” an official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the publication.
Another anonymous official explained to WP that if Trump were to ease the pressure and initiate negotiations while protesters continue to die, his administration might retreat, acting with greater impunity and brutality.
