Trump Calls Himself Zelensky's Only Advantage in Negotiations
US President Donald Trump has once again stated that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky 'has no cards' and referred to himself as Kyiv's only advantage in resolving the ongoing conflict. In an interview with The New York Times, reporters recalled the argument that took place between Zelensky and Trump last year, when the Ukrainian leader arrived in the US for negotiations with the new administration.
The US President asserted that Zelensky 'has no cards' and clarified that the Ukrainian president possesses only one thing that could potentially aid him. He noted that without this advantage, the conflict in Ukraine would be a 'complete failure' for Zelensky.
'Zelensky knows this, European leaders know this, everyone knows this,' emphasized the US President. Trump also explained that he currently cannot provide an exact timeline for the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis.
