22 Azerbaijani Wagons of Gasoline Cross Armenia-Georgia Border, Papoyan
At this moment, 22 wagons of Azerbaijani origin A95 gasoline, totaling 1300 tons, are crossing the Armenia-Georgia border at the Ayrum station. This was reported by the Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan.
“Perhaps, this is not only the first trade and economic transaction between Armenia and Azerbaijan after the established peace between the two countries, but also the first such transaction since Armenia’s independence,” Papoyan wrote.
Earlier, the first batch of oil products was sent from Azerbaijan to Armenia. Following the agreement reached on November 28 between the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, 22 railway wagons loaded with AI-95 gasoline produced by SOCAR will be shipped.
