Archbishop Arshak Transferred to Yerevan-Center Penitentiary, Lawyer Says
Archbishop Arshak has been transferred to the Yerevan-Center Penitentiary. This was reported to Radar Armenia by lawyer Arsen Babayan.
It should be noted that Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan has been detained for two months. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against him for the illegal sale of narcotics in agreement with a group of individuals.
It is also noteworthy that Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan, the leader of the Shirak Diocese, and Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan are being held at the Yerevan-Center Penitentiary.
