Fire Between Urasar and Katnaghbyur Settlements, Large Number of Rescuers Involved

On November 29, at 18:59, information was received by the crisis management center of the Lori regional rescue service that smoke had been observed in the area between the settlements of Urasar and Katnaghbyur.

A response team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department, two fire-fighting units, and two operational groups were dispatched to the scene.

It was found that a grassland area was burning. On November 30, a large number of rescue personnel, eco-patrols, volunteers from the ‘Lore’ rescue brigade, and local residents are involved in firefighting efforts.
