When You Say It Should Be Closed, How Much Are You Willing to Pay in Case of Losing Arbitration? - Ioannisyan
Daniil Ioannisyan, the founder and program coordinator of the 'Informed Citizens' Union NGO, wrote on his Facebook page: 'As a (former) physicist and someone who has a certain mastery of persuasion, I can convince many of you that the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant should be closed due to significant environmental risks and certain unmanageable threats. However, when I mention how much more each of us would have to pay annually for electricity as a result, I dare say few would agree to the closure of the power plant. The same goes for Amulsar. When you say it should be closed, at least indicate how much you, as taxpayers, are willing to pay in case we lose in arbitration.'
