What Will Happen to the Occupied Territories: Pashinyan Provides Details
Armenia is opening up after 30 years. This was announced today by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in his address.
“How will the communication routes be opened? First and foremost, the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan must be delineated and demarcated in those areas. This issue should be thoroughly examined in the near future. This does not open the door to new concerns for us.
There are many questions regarding what will happen to the more than 200 square kilometers of occupied territories. This reality needs to be addressed in the process of demarcation, but the logic of peace is that there are Armenian sovereign territories under Azerbaijani control and there are Azerbaijani territories under the control of the Republic of Armenia,” he stated.
