Russian Side Complies with Azerbaijan's Demand
The Russian news agency TASS has altered the headline of a news article published regarding Stepanakert. In the new headline, the term Stepanakert has been replaced with Nagorno-Karabakh.
It should be noted that the previous day, the Russian TASS agency had published a news article titled "The Aivazovsky Monument Has Been Destroyed in Stepanakert." In connection with this topic, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry commented, stating, "The official state agency of the Russian Federation, TASS, considers the renaming of Stepanakert to Khankendi in our country an act of disrespect towards our territorial integrity and an insult. We await a response from the Russian side; otherwise, appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with the legislation in Azerbaijan against TASS's activities."
