Today, What the Prime Minister is Doing Against the Church is an Absolutely Illegal Process: Tatoyan
What the Prime Minister is doing today against the church is an absolutely illegal process. This was stated today by former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan during a conversation with journalists in the courtyard of the Mother See.
“The Prime Minister, hiding under the guise of the Armenian Church’s faithful expression, is actually engaging in activities that divide the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church and sow enmity among the Armenian people,” said Tatoyan.
“Any deviation from the specific powers arising from the Prime Minister's status is already a gross violation of the law. It seems that there is an organized process in action, with clear role distribution. The entire political agenda comes from the Prime Minister; he spreads ideas, and then senior officials, such as members of parliament and certain ministers, begin to implement them,” emphasized the former Human Rights Defender.
