Azerbaijanis Set Fire to Occupied Artsakh Forests; Arrests Made
A wildfire has erupted in the Kashatagh (Lachin) region of Nagorno-Karabakh, resulting in the arrest of three Azerbaijani citizens. The Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan report that three residents of the village of Sus lit a fire in the forest.
The fire quickly spread, covering an area of 14 hectares in a hard-to-reach mountainous area. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and the suspects have been arrested by police officers. An investigation is currently underway.
The fire is still being extinguished.
