Israel Disagrees: Netanyahu
Israel will not agree to the establishment of a fully sovereign Palestinian state and the transfer of key powers, particularly in security matters, to it. This was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House while responding to reporters' questions, as reported by APA.
"I believe that the Palestinians should have all powers of self-governance, but none that would threaten us, the Israelis. This means that certain powers, for example, those related to general security, will always remain in our hands," the Prime Minister said.
