We Cannot Contact Russian Journalists in Baku: Zakharova
The Russian Federation is concerned that for over two hours, Russian diplomats have been unable to establish contact with Russian journalists in Baku. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
The Azerbaijani side has not allowed Russian diplomats to approach the Russian journalists without providing any justification.
Earlier, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that law enforcement agencies were conducting operations at the office of the "Sputnik Azerbaijan" news agency.
The Russian side has reached out to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs and law enforcement agencies regarding the journalists, but there has been no response yet.
