Hope It's Not an Attempt to Promote Terrorism: Konczyan on Lavrov's Statement

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the attacks on churches in Armenia raise serious concerns. This statement was addressed by Hayk Konjoryan, the leader of the 'Civil Contract' faction.

"First, the processes occurring in Armenia are an internal matter of Armenia. Secondly, the comments made by the Russian Foreign Minister are a direct attempt to interfere in Armenia's internal political life. Thirdly, Mr. Lavrov's phrasing is identical to the terminology used by circles calling for terrorism in Armenia. We hope this is merely a consequence of not mastering the topic, and not an attempt to promote terrorism in Armenia," said Konjoryan.
