Lawyer Reveals Where the Bishop of Shirak is Located
The Bishop of Shirak, Mikhail Archbishops Aghapayev, is currently at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, participating in a Clergy Assembly. This was reported by lawyer Tamara Yayloyan to ArmeniaSputnik.
The bishop's legal defender was not allowed to enter the episcopal residence, where a search is currently underway. Law enforcement officials stated that she would be able to enter after the search is completed.
Earlier reports indicated that Archbishop Mikhail Aghapayev was on vacation and was absent from Armenia.
It is worth noting that this morning, about 30 masked individuals stormed the episcopal residence of Shirak. Police are monitoring the entrance to the Shirak Episcopal residence.
