HETC Should Be Nationalized: Pashinyan Makes a Statement

He says he doesn’t care about them or their HETC. This statement was made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“In other words, these people do not even consider HETC as theirs, and they don’t care about this strategically important enterprise, its consumers, and its employees because if HETC is not theirs, then whose is it? It belongs to its consumers and employees. It can be said that it belongs to the people, because the entire population is either a consumer or an employee of HETC.

I believe the time has come for the Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC to be nationalized. This will happen quickly, and I instruct all employees of HETC to diligently fulfill their work duties. After the nationalization, diligence will be taken into account,” he wrote.
