700 People Arrested in Iran for Espionage
Since the escalation of the Iran-Israel conflict over the past 12 days, approximately 700 individuals have been arrested on charges of "espionage and collaboration with Israel," according to Farsna, citing sources from the IRGC.
The majority of the arrests have taken place in the provinces of Kermanshah, Isfahan, Khuzestan, Fars, and Lorestan. Additionally, sources indicate that more than 10,000 drones have been discovered and confiscated in Tehran in recent days.
Meanwhile, HRANA, a human rights monitoring group, reports that the total number of individuals arrested during the specified period on political or security-related charges has reached 823.
