Terrible Consequences Expected: Statement from Oman

Oman has condemned the Israeli attack on Iran, warning that it could lead to a widespread conflict and hinder negotiations between Washington and Tehran over the nuclear dossier. This statement was made by Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which acts as a mediator in the negotiation process aimed at resolving the crisis surrounding Iran's nuclear program.

"This attack has occurred at an extremely sensitive time, as international efforts to resume nuclear negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States have intensified. This clearly indicates a deliberate attempt to disrupt the diplomatic process and provoke a broader conflict, which will have terrible consequences for regional and international stability," the statement read.

It is worth noting that Iran has announced it will not participate in the next planned negotiations with the U.S. in Oman regarding its nuclear program, scheduled for June 15.
