Train Driver Arrested: Criminal Case Initiated Following Incident of Teen Falling Under Yerevan-Gyumri Train
Earlier, we reported that on the afternoon of May 25, a teenager fell under a passenger train servicing the Yerevan-Gyumri route near the village of Jrarat in the Armavir region and died.
Auroranews was informed by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. “A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 341 of the RA Criminal Code. A site inspection has been conducted, and a forensic medical examination has been appointed. The train driver has been arrested. The investigation is ongoing,” the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia reported.
