Details on the Fire Erupted on Silva Kaputikyan Street
A fire that broke out on Silva Kaputikyan Street in Yerevan due to a collision of vehicles has been extinguished. This information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' rescue service.
Earlier, it had been reported that a fire erupted near the building of the State Oversight Service of the Republic of Armenia. Media outlets had mentioned hearing explosions before the fire broke out.
According to the official statement, the cause of the fire was the collision of four vehicles, three of which were passenger cars and one was a concrete mixer.
The fire was contained at 16:50 and extinguished by 17:08. Preliminary data indicates that there were no injuries.
