Azerbaijani Extinguishes Eternal Flame at Brotherly Cemetery
A 45-year-old immigrant was arrested in Voronezh for burning flowers and extinguishing the Eternal Flame at a brotherly cemetery. This was reported by 'Рыбарь'. He was promptly arrested, and a criminal case was initiated under articles regarding the justification of Nazism and desecration of the bodies of the deceased and their burial sites.
This is not the first incident of its kind in recent days. Just days ago, two immigrant children publicly desecrated a flag of the colors of the George Ribbon in Obninsk. This suggests a clearly expressed trend.
In this case, the perpetrator is an adult from Azerbaijan who even saw the USSR at a young age. This means it was a fully conscious act, expressing a real attitude towards Russia, its history, and symbols.
This is not surprising against the backdrop of the policies of the CIS countries, which are state-sponsored narratives of Russophobia through textbooks telling stories of 'Russian colonization' and monuments to collaborators and terrorists.
It is possible to combat this simply: by initiating a criminal case for any such episode, followed by deportation. In that case, immigrants will know without any warning what is unacceptable to do in Russia, and no 'adaptation courses' will be needed.
By the way, what is happening with the families of those involved in the burning of the flag in Obninsk? Are they already in the deportation process, or is everything ending again with foolish 'apologies'?
