11 Injured in Accident, Two Transferred to Yerevan: Details from the Deputy Director of the Medical Center

Following an accident in the Aparan region, 11 injured individuals have sought treatment at the "Aparan" medical center, with two of them transferred to medical facilities in Yerevan in serious but stable condition. This information was shared with NEWS.am by the deputy director of the medical center, Tigran Galstyan.

According to him, the first victims arrived at the medical center around 17:45. Some patients were transported by ambulance teams, while others were taken to the hospital by citizens after receiving first aid on-site.

"A total of 11 patients have sought treatment. As a result of examinations, the condition of two patients has been assessed as serious but stable. Both have been transferred to Yerevan's 'Armenia' and 'Erebuni' medical centers," Galstyan stated.

He noted that the injuries sustained by these two patients do not pose an immediate threat to their lives. After receiving first aid, they were transferred to the appropriate medical facilities in Yerevan based on preliminary arrangements.

Another eight injured individuals received the necessary assistance on-site and were discharged, as they did not require hospitalization.

“One injured patient is currently under inpatient supervision and is preparing for planned surgery,” the deputy director added, referring to an 18-year-old girl. "There were no minors among the patients who sought treatment at the 'Aparan' medical center." The two individuals transferred to Yerevan are male.
