Who remembers where we have reached, what threatens Armenia in the near future: Tigran Abrahamyan
In recent discussions, issues such as scandals, insults, and inappropriate behaviors have been more prominently debated, rather than focusing on what currently threatens Armenia and depends on its future, stated Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the "I Have Honor" parliamentary group during a parliamentary Q&A session.
He added that today, no one remembers where we have reached in the negotiation process. "Who remembers what point we have reached, as this determines what threatens Armenia and what is expected in the near future. The public has been informed that negotiations with Azerbaijan have ended, the document consisting of 17 points is not being published, and it is being kept from the public," he noted.
The MP also addressed the opinions suggesting that many view him as a candidate for Prime Minister. "Of course, I am very grateful that I can be considered as a candidate for Prime Minister in your views; it is a significant responsibility. The initiators, who have approached the 'I Have Honor' and 'Armenia' factions, as well as consultations with extra-parliamentary forces, have certain ideas, which suggest bringing a candidate to the forefront and making it a subject of discussion. We have expressed our clear position regarding the process in the statement of our group; when the process reaches the nomination of a candidate, we will express our additional position on that matter," the MP added.
