The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, during his speech at the opening of the International Exhibition Centre in Minsk, admitted that he has been in power for a long time but pleaded for a little more patience from the public.
He noted that he had promised to bring a new generation to power, and this has practically happened. "As I promised you, a new generation has indeed been brought to power. There must be experienced people. We have them," he stated.
