US National Archives Releases Declassified Documents on Kennedy Assassination

The US National Archives has released declassified documents concerning the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, his politician brother Robert, and civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., following an executive order from President Donald Trump on March 19.

“This webpage was created in response to the executive order signed by President Trump on January 23 regarding the declassification of records related to the murders of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.,” the archive stated on its website.

The collection of recordings related to Kennedy's assassination contains more than 6 million pages of records, photographs, films, audio recordings, and artifacts. Earlier, on January 23, Trump announced that he would declassify all documents related to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy (1961-1963), his brother Robert, and civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

Additionally, on January 24, The New York Post reported that Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of former President John Kennedy, criticized Trump for his decision to declassify documents related to the circumstances of his grandfather's case, emphasizing that he sees nothing heroic in this action.
