According to Kocharyan, Ruben Vardanyan's Face Reveals What Is Happening to Them in Baku

"They had no right to be captured. Their capture is a threat to the country," stated ruling party MP Andranik Kocharyan in an interview with reporters at the National Assembly.

"If we look at the facial expressions of our military-political leadership during their trial, you will see that they are being tortured. What is the way to counter these tortures? Of course, a certain response from the international community is needed.

"Ruben Vardanyan's face reveals what is happening to them in the Baku fortress. Ruben Vardanyan has said so many things in the past that today they are being used against him. Never say something that could later be used against you. Will this trial be used against the Republic of Armenia? They should not have been captured; you had no right to be captured. The capture of officials at such a level is a threat to the country," Kocharyan emphasized.
