TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew has expressed gratitude to newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump for his "commitment to working with us" regarding the resolution of the platform's accessibility in the United States. This was reported by РИА Новости.
“On behalf of everyone at TikTok and all our users across the country, I want to thank President Trump for his commitment to working with us to find a solution to keep TikTok available in the United States,” said the CEO in a video published on TikTok.
Earlier, the White House announced that a final decision on the fate of the Chinese TikTok social platform must be made by the new administration led by Donald Trump due to the timelines surrounding the enforcement of a potential ban.
“Ultimately, it’s all up to me, so you’ll see what I do,” Trump commented on the situation surrounding TikTok.
