The State Food Safety Inspection Body Visits the Meat Market on Khorenatsi Street Again
The State Food Safety Inspection Body (SFSIB) visited the meat sales market on Khorenatsi Street again today, December 20. This was reported by NEWS.am.
It is worth recalling that exactly one week ago, on December 13, a tense situation had developed at the same meat sales market on Khorenatsi Street in Yerevan, where SFSIB representatives seized meat from vendors in collaboration with the special police forces. A scuffle had started between the police and the meat sellers, during which one of the sellers attempted to set himself on fire with a lighter. As a result, eight meat vendors were detained. Later, SFSIB issued a statement announcing that approximately one ton of seized meat had been burned.
