Armenia and Azerbaijan Ignore External Proposals, Narishkin Says
Armenia and Azerbaijan prefer to work on the resolution of their bilateral relations without the involvement of third parties. This was stated by Sergey Narishkin, the Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, in an interview with the Russian magazine 'Razvedchik'.
“Armenia and Azerbaijan are actually not listening to the proposals from the US and the EU regarding peaceful resolution, choosing instead to resolve all issues independently,” he noted.
Earlier, the Director of the FSB, Alexander Bortnikov, also stated that the US aims to create chaos in the CIS region and called on the special services of cooperating countries to unite their efforts to protect common interests.
