Armenia Appoints New Ambassador in France
The President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, has signed a decree recalling Hasmik Tolmajyan from her position as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the French Republic and the Principality of Monaco.
“Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution and Article 14 of the Law on Diplomatic Service: Hasmik Tolmajyan is recalled from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the French Republic and the Principality of Monaco,” states the decree.
According to the presidential decree, Hasmik Tolmajyan has been appointed as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organizations. “Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution, as well as Article 13, Part 3 and Article 14 of the Law on Diplomatic Service: Hasmik Tolmajyan is appointed as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organizations (location: Geneva),” the decree mentions.
In another decree, Arman Khachatryan has been appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the French Republic. “Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution, as well as Article 13, Part 3 and Article 14 of the Law on Diplomatic Service: Arman Khachatryan is appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the French Republic (location: Paris),” the decree states.
Arman Khachatryan has also been recalled from his position as Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the Council of Europe. “Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution and Article 14 of the Law on Diplomatic Service: Arman Khachatryan is recalled from the position of Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the Council of Europe,” the decree specifies.
